Nordson Corporation has completed the acquisition of Atrion Corporation. The completion of the transaction follows the company’s May 28, 2024 announcement that it had agreed to acquire the business. This acquisition will expand Nordson’s medical portfolio into new markets and therapies, supported by long-term secular growth trends. The acquired Atrion’s portfolio consists of three businesses: Halkey Roberts, Atrion Medical, and Quest Medical. The deal was valued at about $800 million at a cash price of $460 per share. The Company will provide a webcast with comments about the acquisition in its previously announced third-quarter fiscal year 2024.
